Looks like the 43mm LE is a goner, guess I am happy that I got mine
in time :-)
They are in the 13 page brochure that's been mentioned before, I
believe.

One of the things that makes the Pentax SLRs and DSLRs different from
the competition is the very reliable looking arrangement of the lens
contacts in the actual bayonet mounting ring where the others have
resorted to feeble looking designs with the contacts added in ways
that look more as
Look at this, probably some new pictures and facts:
Im ersten Quartal 2007 wird es neue Objektive geben. Einige werden
speziell auf die K10D abgestimmt sein. Diese verfügen dann ebenfalls
über Staub- und Spritzwasserschutz. Viel wichtiger wird aber der

SR would be nice but I've already got that in my A10 ;-)
USM focusing won't help my precious old Pentax glass one bit.
What I don't want is something larger and heavier than my DS :-(

I could not resist this beauty, even if I already had the pancake

I don't think I have seen it in any of todays 35mm DSLRs,
A 35-year old memory came to light after my post – TOPCON. I think it
was the RE Super that I bought in 1970. It had an interchangeable

Regrettably, I sold it when I bought my LeicaFlex.

Although I appreciate that Pentax need to offer the D2 this autumn, I
do not personally see any use for the 10MP behemoth.
I rather like the small frame of the DS/DL, and would regret to see
these languish in the face a more advanced product. It worries me
that I have heard nothing further
