OK, how many rolls have you put through the Dynax and how many through
MZ-S?
None.
But I have
Yeah - but the current electronic shutters are incredibly durable. Perhaps it is in
order to quote the Chasseur d´Images August/September 2000 test again:
Canon EOS 300 - 180186 cycles
Minolta 404 si - 249185 cycles
Nikon F 60 - 64633 cycles
Pentax MZ-30 - 145305 cycles
And in the Nikon it was
Advantages? Name one.
All the best!

During the last Photokina I learned that Pål has good, reliable sources in the Pentax
circles in Japan. Do you? If not, try sticking to facts, because you will have a
greater
chance of getting things right.

Do I sense a negative attitude here? It is quite unnecessary.
Current electronic shutters are very durable, even the cheap ones. In a Chaser
d´Images test issue (226/2000) even Pentax MZ-30 shutter managed to do 145305 cycles.
In the days of mechanical shutters 5 was respectable and 10

OK. I thought
Yeah, I have been thinking about getting a Canon, too. I would like to have the F-1n,
the first version. That is a quality camera.

Which one?
There are currently two Sigma 70-300 DL:s.
1. Sigma DL Macro Super
2. Sigma DL Super APO 2.
Thanks
Good point!
I can say the same about MZ-S (except that it is not 11 years old yet). The MZ-S and
3.5-4.5/24-90 cost about 1500 USD and it has all the features I need and I am going to
keep it for at least 10 years. Cost of one exposure will be negligible.
But it would sell better if it were

Aihe: Which 300 zoom should I buy?
Not likely. It is an unique camera with useful specs. Nikon F 100 is not better, it is
different.

MZ-S is a bit overpriced but it has all the features I need and more. Great camera,
all who have tested it have liked it.
