We have just come back from 11 days in Tassie, nice spot, a bit like a smaller version of NZ with less snow LOL I'm still editing from December, at one point I shot 10 shows in as many days, about 20k images all up. Cheers, On 13 February 2018 at 08:35, Gonz wrote: > No

No worries mate (in my best fake crocodile dundy accent)! I figured you and others were busy with it being the end of the year and all that. We were pretty busy ourselves trying to squeeze in as much of eastern Australia as we could within the week we had. I think next time we may just choose

Great pics Robert, NZ looks gorgeous. Sorry we didn't manage to catch up, I was slow to check my mail as it ended up a hectic end to the year (an insane number of back to back jobs). Cheers On 8 February 2018 at 03:19, Gonz wrote: > Thanks Bob. I did manage to have

Thanks Bob. I did manage to have some relax time in there and not reach for the camera for everything like some of the tourists there. There were a huge number of tourists in Sydney for the NYE party there, a good many of them posing for "instagram" moments... sigh, such is the nature of scenic

Here you go... a couple of quick & dirty renderings from 6x7 scans, uncropped. I must have been late for the actual sunset but I suspect the light would have been difficult as everything would be in shadow. You'd need to be there at the right time of year.

I have some sunset photos from there but they're not immediately handy. I wasn't up early enough the following morning to get the sunrise but the local kea population certainly was. Quite an effective alarm clock. Cheers, Dave > On Feb 6, 2018, at 7:44 AM, Gonz wrote:

Thanks Paul. The color of the water was amazing. What I found fascinating is how much the color varied depending on the angle of the sun. Or just a little cloudiness and the color would change from aquamarine to dark blue in an instant. I had a couple of pics only a minute or so apart and the

Thanks Ann. The "ice" photo is actually a waterfall with a slow shutter speed. The boat came right up to the waterfall and it was quite dark alongside the cliff. Thanks, Robert > On Feb 5, 2018, at 2:31 PM, ann sanfedele wrote: > > I'm loving these - now - but when I

Thanks David. I can tell its quite wet there, that with all the waterfalls everywhere you look and the lush vegetation. I would love to be in Milford Sound during the golden hour at sunset or perhaps better at sunrise. The pics I got were ok, but the light was quite harsh. On Sat, Feb 3, 2018

Thanks Cotty. Speaking of sailing, they said that Cp Cook missed Milford Sound because the entrance is so well hidden. The pics 2295 and 2297 show the entrance and in 2295 you can see a ship going in. >From the picture, the whole bay there looks like its closed, but the huge sound goes in quite

Lovely. I'm jealous about that flight, what incredible views. Nice to see you had clear weather at Milford Sound because it's one of the wettest places in the world. It's also spectacular in the rain so you wouldn't have been disappointed either way. Cheers, Dave > On Feb 4, 2018, at 2:31
