Well, you are at a disadvantage being in Israel and all. I'm less than
200 miles from BH photo. When the K-7 was beginning to ship BH
dropped the price of the K20D to $629.00. With free shipping I had it

The K-5 will have been out, a bit over, a year next September. The K-3,
or whatever it'll be called, will have been announced sometime after the
previous August, with a ship dated not far in the future. Then is the
time to look to look to buy a K-5. Every Pentax DSLR I've bought I've
paid ~
Just went to the local price watch site. Few quotes for your perusal, Peter:
K100D - USD 650
K200D - USD 1050
K10D - USD 970
K20D - USD 1000
K-7 - USD 1300
Following your logic, I am going to have to wait until K-(-3) comes out
(yes, it is key minus three) to get my K-5 for USD 600 although

In sooth, this reminds me a joke from Scientific American about the
uninteresting numbers. IIRC it went like this:
* One month the magazine published a proof that no uninteresting numbers
existed. Something in lines of: consider the set of all uninteresting
numbers. Take the minimal of them.
The A850 and A900 are optimized for low ISO shooting. They use a
stronger Colour Filter Array than anything else short of a MF system
which gives them the best colour at low ISO's at the cost of poor high
ISO performance.
Note that if you downrez A900 files to APS-C resolutions you pick up
