I have an L-308s, I hadn't actually seen that they had new digital versions out. As far as I can see, it's more or less just the added ability to calibrate that's different? I don't get the impression it meters any differently to suit digital at all, more that you can calibrate it to match

You are trying to use older extension tubes, that does not have contacts on them for the the digital body. You will have to set the lens to f22 on the lens itself and not with the camera. The reason it works right when just the lens is on the camera is because it is a A lens with contacts. With
