I have no problem with the actual process of developing black and
white. I did it for several years a while back.
The only issues are that my wife and I are extremely sensitive to
chemicals. She worse than I. It seems to be getting worse
counting pixels and figuring
dimensions ... !

I don't know about the Slik Pro series, but I purchased a Slik Sprint:

I wanted a compact, inexpensive tripod with a ball head and no quick
release plates. I think this cost me about $70us. I like it quite a
bit.
I used it for lots of photos
Very nice photograph. Congrats on the long exposure too.

And I very much like many of the other photos in your flickr stream too.

Many of my artist friends sell things via Etsy. I've often wished that
there was something similar for photographers. And then yesterday I
found imagekind.com.
Has anyone used a service like this in the past to sell prints? Anyone
have any thoughts on these kinds of services?
Thanks.

Hopefully I'll be getting that scanner in the next couple weeks, so
now I'm starting to wonder about inkjet photo printers.
What's the scoop on printers in the sub-$100 range?
I'm not looking to print monster sizes or anything. Probably mostly
4x6s and rarely maybe an 8x10.
Is there anything
Okay, one more scanner question.
The Epson v300 says that it scans 35mm film at 4800 dpi. What does
that equate to in terms of megapixels?

Well, a frame of 35mm film is 36 x 24 mm. At 25.4mm per inch, that's
(36/25.4)*4800 * (24/25.4)*4800
So what would you suggest?

It depends on how much you're going to print, how many prints you can get
from an ink set, and how much an ink set costs.
I have an Epson 820 that I've had for years. I print maybe a dozen 8x10s a
year
Kind of the opposite of this recent photo:

You can order all the gels you want from Adorama or some similar
place. You'll just have to cut them to the size you want.
Here's a CTO gel for example:
