Yes it does. I haven't tried it. Just noticed it the other day in fact.
I have half a dozen diffusers of various types. The slide-out panel is

The K10D is larger than the *istD. Probably about halfway between the
size of the D and that Nikon. I own both the Sigma Super and the Pentax

is okay, but it's no match for the real thing.

That would work, but I like the blue sky, fake or not. It's a bit
theatrical, but in my experience, that sells.

Holy Shit! You're one tough customer. But we knew that. Good to hear
you're recovering. I wondered where you were during a recent flurry of
flame wars. Welcome back. I think you'll like the K10D.

(More on that some other time.) Anyway, PESOs are better than silly

Scored another nuthatch. This guy was in deep, dark doodoo and was
shot at 1/125th off the monopod. F8, ISO 800. Flash must have helped.
SR as well. Luck too. Again, the A 400/5.6 plus the A 2X-S converter.

Thanks for looking at both of these.

I missed this shot previously. It is a very dramatic shot. Lovely. I
agree with Godfrey that much more shadow detail can be extracted. It
can all be done in PhotoShop as well. Much of the detail can be recoved
with highlights/shadows alone.
Some subsequent curve adjustments can restore balance.
Yes, I can generally shoot at 1/500th. This was a bit of an accident,
but the flash saved it. I'd love to have a 400/2.8, but there's no way
I can afford it.

Good exposure. I might p®efer the pic with more DOF, but that's hard to
achieve at macro distances.

Thanks Christian. Yes, it's a bit noisy. I'm usually stuck at ISO 800
with the 2X converter on that 5.6 lens. Here, I might have been able to
go to ISO 400. I had the shutter up to 1/800th. I'll keep trying.
