Taken this past Saturday in Pt Reyes near San Francisco. We actually went to see some of the wildlife and at the end of the day on the way back, we were confronted with the scene. I have rendered it just as we saw it. It was a fairly low key, peaceful scene rather than an overly punchy scene.

I wonder if your contrast is too high on your monitor. There is detail there to be seen. It is subtle, however. There are some dark shapes in foreground that give way to a slightly lighter shade and I can count two low hill peaks on the right prior to the top of the last hill. I'll have to go
