I must say that I can't agree with the opinion on the ebay shipping calculator
- I find the shipping calculator to be quite faulty. I lost some money on a
couple of shipments by trusting it. Ever since then I use my postal scale and
USPS online, and the result is that the Priority Mail cost to s
ce Ferguson cylinder box label that he used to glue onto
original boxes. That is a good offer until I am out of them.
The books are $12.50 postpaid inside the US.

and has a three spring motor rather than four, but I assume the crank is the
same. The shaft on it is 7/16 in diameter, the length from inside the shoulder
to the end is 2-1/4 inches.

I am rather embarrassed to admit this..but I felt the feedscrew and it was
pretty dry..so I oiled it and I turned the feednut screw about a quarter of a
turn..and no more problem. I even adjusted the suspensio bold down an inch, and
still no binding problem..I think I didn't have the f

Have you removed the mandrel and shaft yet? That is pretty much mandatory.. The
way I did it (and there may be better ways, this is the way I learned to do it)
is to grasp the mandrel with rubber gloved hands and twist it back and forth

Can anyone suggest the best way to cut down a mica diaphragm with a minimum of
splitting of the layers of mica? Every time I've cut mica in the past it seems
to split.
