Just a ping, to make sure this has not been forgotten.
Any comments on the package? If not, would someone please upload it?
The package is on git [0] and on Debian Mentors [1].
[0] http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-multimedia/deadbeef.git;a=summary
[1] http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/d/dea
I pushed deadbeef to git [0] (this will make reviews and corrections
easier to do, I hope).
I think I have fixed all the errors found by Paul and Alessio (aside from
all the shlib-calls-exit lintian errors, which I'll report to upstream
with all the relevant patches), has anyone any other remark
I re-uploaded the package, since I noticed I forgot to put the text
of the BSD license in debian/copyright.
Sorry for the inconvenience :)
Cheers

It had better set something similar to:

This makes us able to drop the ~dfsg component if upstream will decide
to release another DFSG-clean tarball in future.
Cheers.

Sorry if I am annoying, but I was wondering if it would be acceptable

just cut off the non DFSG-compliant parts from the orig.tar.gz. Since
they are just plugins the software (which is mostl
