A lot of the log looks OK - you don't need mplayer.sh for SSODS -
flipflip has a special version of mplayer called mplayer-stdout which
works in SSODS and bypasses need for mplayer.sh
What sort of player are you using Softsqueeze or SB2/3 ?
The log is odd in that it starts to play correctly and
I didn't know what you meant by SSODS, so I Googled for it, and found
the item and the related readme.txt.
The problem seems to be that the instructions for installing AlienBBC
really are not the full instructions but only mention the changes

Hi
My installation has no reference to mplayer. The slimserver directory
has a BIN and a Plugins Directory, but neither contain a mplayer.sh
file.
The installation instructions on SSODS state to d/l alienbbc and copy
the alien folder to the slimserver\plugins folder. Then to check shares

Thanks. Classical tracks are probably less than 5% so I think I'll
investigate option 2.

Thanks for the suggestions. If I cannot get this working I'll have to go
down the BottleRocket route, although I may need a USB version.

Ive tried all the various Player Settings/Audio/Power on Resume

Well, mplayer.sh is certainly needed.
Do you have it? On my machine (a Mac, so the exact settings will be
different) it is in a folder named "bin" inside a folder named
"SlimDevices" which also contains a folder named "Plugins".
The original downloaded AlienBBC should unpack to a folder that

Hello outthere,
I have altered the logfile debugging script.
RTSP entries : .wav mplayer -stdout was ticked.
RTSP FLAC was NOT ticked.
Yes I do get a long list under Radio 4 Listen Again.
Mplayer standalone? I'm not sure how to do that?
I have looked thru the logfile and see a section:

d_info and d_scan provide no useful info wrt AlienBBC.
You need a log with d_plugins, d_source and d_remotestream.
Since you provide no details on what part of AlienBBC is not working -
first check.
1. Does mplayer work standalone ?
2. Do you have checked RTSP entries in Server Setting/Filetypes

Hit F2 or F10 (repeatedly) while the machine is powering up.

I don't think it actually means much. It is just a British Radio
company group name.

Hi mattross
As Peter mentioned, BottleRocket plugin is probably easier to setup
since it's especially made for integration with X-10.
However, looking at your learned ir codes, I think something went
wrong. The timing seems to be odd and number 2 seems to lack a start or
an end.
I suggest you tr
