Are you sure about that, Michael? I just tested again and added a song
to one of my Spotify playlists, using the LMS web UI (default skin). If
I open the Spotify app it appears in the Playlist.
There are many ways to add something to some playlist. Spotty has menus
to add tracks to Spotify
And uninstalling the plugin would restore functionality? Anything in
server.log (Settings/Information)?

Please let me know if there is a more appropriate thread to ask this,
but here's my question...
I have an enormous static playlist of all my favorite songs, and I use
Dynamic Playlists to randomize it. I would like the option of choosing a
particular genre within the static playlist. Is
I just upgraded to LMS 8.2.1 and Spotty 6.4.2, and I get the same
result.

I have a container running LMS 8.1.1 and recently I tried enabling the
Spotty 6.4.1 plugin. As soon as I restart the LMS to enable the plugin,
it completely stops responding. I was able to wait it out once and get
my Spotify credentials entered, and even played a few songs. But now it
just locks
Repo added - I'll try it out for the 09:00 transition tomorrow.

Is this "Add to playlist drop-down" from MaterialSkin? If so I can hide
these entries.
@Michael - should I make all online service playlists 'read only'???
Yes. They would get overwritten with every import. There's no write back
to the service (could be a feature... please don't ask!).

Yes Philippe
Its a UPnP renderer problem. All Flac files are send to piCorePlayer,
without any conversion up to 24 bits 384Khz ( the max

OK thanks, i get it now. (I don't use Playlist Manager.)

I did a reinstall so I assume it's the default settings. I didn't try
doing any specific settings this time and it carried on working OK last
night (haven't used it today). I've
Hi
I am using a RPI4, piCorePlayer & LMS with a usb "iFI Zen Dac V2" and it
play natively DSF files up to DSD256, using the LMS web interface.
When I tried to send the same files from my JRiver 28 to the
piCorePlayer I dont get any audio, only appears the artwork.
I am using the LMS UPnP/DLNA
I just noticed another thing... with Android, resume does not work from
the lock screen.
iOS seems not to be affected by this.

I just tried playing Gates Of Delirium to a Touch from the Windows
Spotify app instead of Android and pausing caused the Spotify time to
jump to 17 minutes 36 seconds out of 21 minutes 49 seconds total length.
Resuming caused LMS to jump forward to 17:36 so same behaviour.

When you add a track to a playlist from the Spotify menu, you change the
Spotify playlist, not its local copy.
Is this how it should be? In my case the song doesn't get added to the
Spotify playlist.
Oh, hold
The situation is different for long tracks. In this case the track time
bar jumps forward when pausing in the Spotify app, but it doesn't jump
to the end. I just tried playing "Gates Of Delirium" from Yes-Relayer.
Pausing caused the time bar in Spotify to jump forward to around 7
minutes 36
To summarise what I am seeing. When using Connect pausing does seem to
work for short tracks in that playback does pause and resume correctly
and the correct track times are displayed in LMS. Seeking within a track
also works in Connect. The only issue is the time bar in the Spotify app
jumps to
Here is longer version of the log that starts around 6 minutes before
the end of the 3 hour programme.
