I see. I upgraded LMS (and Spotty) as I was forced to reinstall everything because Synology updated Perl to an incompatible version. So it would be enough to fall back to an earlier Spotty version without connection issues. The spotty helper binaries haven't been updated since November 2019.

After Synology upgraded my Perl I had to downgrade it again and used the opportunity to upgrade LMS to v8.1.1 (Spooty v4.4.9) Now I get frequent crashes when using Spotify Connect with my SB Radios. Last message in the log is "Connect daemon is running, but not connected". Full log attached.

It seems like between switching to 160kbps and removing the group players plugin, things have gone back to normal. One small issue but I can live with it, is that the players synced with spotty playlist playing tend to drop for about 4-6 seconds every few songs, then start back up. The

You can still run Spotty on 7.9.2 but you will not see the integration. It is in the same place as I mentioned earlier. To get 8 in pCP you have to tell pCP that you want to move off the Release version and get the Stable or Development version. It is on the LMS page - Set Branch ... if you are
