For some reason, the lookup isn't occurring and you simply get the getMLB-39 reference, which if you go back and look at the table you had us change for the D-backs you'll sure enough see Padres in slot 39. Wonder why the reference to the icon isn't being made, though. Another detail is that *both* teams will always exhibit this issue, or neither will. Also, a nit that at this point is probably not worth fixing unless it's trivial: if you select the WU icons, some of them are nighttime and others are daytime. The WU web pages do change accordingly with the time of day. It would be good (again using the Radio as an example) to use an appropriate daytime or nighttime icon for the *current* conditions (the bigger icon on the radio) and only the daytime ones for the subsequent forecast periods, which refer to next-day and day-after forecasts. I think what you have described accomplishes what I'd be looking for, that is: If viewing current conditions don't shift. -- YES If viewing today and it changes to 'observed' then switch to tonight. -- YES If viewing tonight and today is no longer 'observed' switch to today. -- YES If viewing other (10day/custom/etc.) don't shift. -- I never look this far out, but this seems reasonable. Would love to see this implemented, although I realize I may be a party of 1 looking for this change. Make that (at least) a party of 2. The upshot is we all want the old behavior back, i.e. a period-aware weather *forecast* shown at all times (without any remote up/down interaction required) presented along with current conditions. The current behavior is particularly challenging for me as I use a universal remote, a Harmony 1, which is activity aware. So, when I'm watching TV (or, more often, when the AV system is completely off) I have to go through hoops just to *get* to the up/down button on the remote. mbonsack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1398 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

OK, after reading back a bit on this thread, I see Greg posted: To match with weather.com's new way of presenting data 1/2 of the day there will be a 'TODAY' and the other half will be 'OBSERVED TODAY'. Observed today represents the overall conditions that have occurred today as well as what the observed high was. Hit up/down on the remote in the morning vs. evening and you'll see what I mean. My MLB parsing seems to have settled down, but now the single line forecast display (e.g. today: sunny) now seems like it is displaying one period in the future (at least in my area code 92067) than it was previously. So, if you go to weather.com and put in a zip code, SDT is now displaying the middle forecast period on the 36-hour panel as opposed to the most current (left) one. So, for instance, in the morning I used to get the forecast for today. Now I get the forecast for tonight in the morning, and tomorrow in the afternoon/evening on any given day. This happened with a recent upgrade to version 15. Is there anything that has changed between 14 and 15 to cause this? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
Is anyone else seeing MLB parsing issues; it looks like the icon-grabbing stuff might be broken. My SB2 displays something like: Get-MLB39Dodgers @ Get-MLB39Padres or something close to that. -mark -- mbonsack mbonsack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1398 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I also noticed that the TV coverage enhancement for basketball was in the release. So, I installed it and of course checked the squeezebox to see if anything had changed. Lo and behold, the Illini were playing and it showed the game was on ESPN -- tuned in, and watched the last 6 minutes as they beat #5 Mich State! This is *exactly* what I was hoping to get out of this enhancement. And it shows up 1 day after it's requested! How cool is that? Needless to say, thanks Greg. -- mbonsack mbonsack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1398 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
Often when viewing sports scores, I'd like to tune into the game. It would be great if TV/radio availability could be reported on line 1, like: College Basketball (ESPN2) Illini @ NW 5:30p and so forth for each game displayed. If there's no TV/radio you could either leave it blank or state (No TV/radio).
