A few details : sq2u does not transcode files, that would be too CPU

LMS will always create a new file if it's missing at startup. You must
have it, or you didn't start LMS since you deleted it. Or you're looking
in the wrong place ;-).

Hm, I tried that and it didn't work for me.

I'm surprised you have valid weather data... those errors look like
you're having trouble reaching the external sites. I'd still recommend
my first suggestion of copying the URL and making sure you get a valid

By the way - what kind of system are you

LMS runs on opensuse desktop pc.
OK - that's good,
Well, I use Squeeze Control, anr it works fine with the Google Music
Plugin. Best way to try it out is to use the LMS webinterface directly.
If it works there, then the Plugin is fine.
I used Squeeze Cimmander for quite a while, but I stopped using it some
time back, because it had problems

Sure?
SqueezeCommander does one thing OrangeSqueeze does, too, for example,
which is to use the play commands on the menu item (as provided by the
plugin) instead of opening the menu with go (to avoid that old problem
with accidental, destructive touch-to-play in LMS). If these commands

I suspected that. Well I ll see what I can do . Thanks

Hi all, spent the last day reading this entire thread and another to try
and gather clues on how to install on CentOS 6.5!!
It's the distro I'm most comfortable with so this is what I want to (and
have been for 12 months) use. Anyhow all the dependencies are named

Squeeze Commander hasn't been updated since 2011, so it's no longer
fully compatible with all the latest LMS features. Use Squeeze Control
or Orange Squeeze and it'll work.

Not at all.
The web interface is actually the worst way to test this. It doesn't use
any of the play commands so the plugin might still send useless crap for
these

Hi Erland,
Couple of weeks ago I stripped down my PC and completely re-installed
LMS (V7.9.0). Since then I don't seem to be able to re-activate my
unlimited license and use your plug-ins properly. Have tried refreshing
license status via license manager plugin but doesn't seem to work
