Hi @mherger QNAP NAS issues still creating dead-ends for those of us
persevering.
Is there any chance/way the IO::Socket::SSL module can be bundled with
the plugin in some way? Or if there are precompiled binaries available
that we can simply add to the perl directory on our QNAP NAS?
Thanks!
Thanks Stig - Martin let me know if you need something tested when you
are ready.

Well, I spent a little money this week on a refurbished laptop, one with
keys that work (still have the fat fingers, though).
Today decided to install LMS (just as a backup) and first plugin was
Spotty.

Doesn't work. Best is to get a pi3 with small usb stick for prefs &
cache. Perhaps with powerbank as powersupply.

I get the error message Spotify.exe is not a valid win32 application. Is
this due to XP? Any help appreciated! I guess my listening is 50/50 my

It just wont work with Windows XP.I hope you guys are aware that XP
is not a supported operating system. Security vulnerabilities (small or
large) are not being patched either. Better hope you don't click on
the wrong link.

I can't find any information about the TS-239 (without the Pro). What

It's got an Atom CPU - I deliberately went with x86 back in the day as
it provided better support for plugins. ;-)

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if anyone has successfully run three instances of
squeezelite on a single Pi?
I currently have 2 instances running fine.
I remember testing 3 a while back and it failed totally, but tempted to
try it again as it was probably user error last time. But before i do I

Good question! I do not know how to clear it. Actually I usually do not
use the search function in SPOTTY as I generally use the LMS search
function and then point it to SP

Using Squeeze CTRL I seldom have the need to save playlists in spotify
so haven't tried in SPOTTY yet. I usually generate playlists by choosing
a seed track and allowing DSTM to generate a
Hi,
What is the audio bitrate at which Spotty streams?
I tried comparing the sound quality between Spotty (Squeezebox 3 ->
Denon receiver) vs Spotify Connect (iPhone -> Denon receiver) and the
sound quality from Spotify Connect is slightly better. The Music Quality

Yes, not much discussion, but what I got out of it is that SPOTTY was
working despite the message, and the message eventually disappeared.

That's good.
The problem is that the package managers are now all third party, and
they break the SSOTS package already installed ;-)
Again: you better ask in some QNAP forum or

Marvel is ARM architecture so it won't work.
That's not quite correct. ARM isn't the limitation: the Pi is ARM based,
too. It's the ARMv5 which is too old.
