[PEDA] Exporting DWG/DXF

Greetings the List, I have been trying to export individual layers of a Protel design to DWG or DXF format. When I look at the exported files, they have all of the layers on them. Turning off the layers doesn't help. Does anyone out there know if there is a way to export only a selected set

Maybe the only way is to do some AutoCAD operation to delete/keep the selected layer. I met a problem just now, that under protelDXP, when I select "Save copy as "menu and save the pcb file as a ".dwg" file, nothing happen, I mean that there is no ".dwg" file is created. I do not know why. [EM

ideas: uninstall your printer driver or change the default printer driver to something else i doubt that this is a license issue or alternatively maybe it has something to do with loaded libraries after closing protel and rebooting try moving one or both of these files ADVPCB99SE.INI & CLIENT99

[PEDA] False DRC Clearance Constraint Error (99SE)?

Hello, I have a clearance constraint between a trace on the keepout layer and a component on the top layer set to 0mil (I've also tried -1mil) but it still gives me a DRC error between the keepout trace and the component pad that sits on top of it. This is obviously not the correct approach. S

i assume this is near a bd edge? the bd outline and keepout don't necessarily need to be coincident sometimes we either break the keepout in this situation (if the board is routed) or just bend it out a little to make the clearance negative clearances don't work Dennis Saputelli Ray Mitchell
