In CAM Outputs go to 'ToolsPreferences'
The directory at the bottom which you point the CAM files to is in fact
where protel will create an extra copy of the gerber files.
If you set the Path to the design directory every time, Protel creates

up, and email them to PCB'S R US. Ok, I push F9 then review the files
in the CAM directory to make sure everything is ok, and WTF?
Damm it, the files were exported to a CAM directory in the previous project

Nope - same happens here, and it's very annoying - to the level that sometimes I need
to let file - find hunt the files

if your projects(PCBs) are X and ZZZ then you are not overwriting
the old files. You may be overwriting an earlier version of the same files
or just re-writing
