Hi,
Would an AuthBy RADIUS typically qualify as a "slow" request, and be
best handled by a Forked copy of Radiator?
Thanks,
Mickey

Hello,
As you remember we have two problems
1. For " bring up the terminal after the connection" problem I have
attached the logfile and the detail file.
DETAIL LOGFILE
2. for the accounting problem when I started the radacct.cgi on the web
server I got the following error. What do you think?
I get a 0.
The other way to fix this would be make sure that
%{NAS-Port} is never undef or an empty string when
the SQL template statements are used.

Hi Radiators!
My wishlist for the next version: command line utilities, in special
versions of radwho and radacct. I know that is trivial to adapt
radwho.cgi in a command line version, but it would be better if it is
included with the distribution. Another beautifull utility that needs a
Well the drivers used to talk to the db's are perl modules. This could be
done as a command line utility and maybe a little ncurses programming
would make it feasible. I suppose you could always use 'lynx' from the
unix side to access those web utilities from a console. ;-) I've done
some
I am having problems with this. The problem is that we are using AuthBy
SQL for accounting only and AuthBy UNIX for the actual authentication,
followed by a AuthBy FILE for secondary authentication. I am using an
AuthByPolicy of ContinueUntilAccept and have all the AuthBy's in one realm

Hi Oliver.
There are a number of problems with your config that are causing it to not
produce the result you expect:
1. You have your Session-Timeout=30 as a check item. It should be a reply item
(its something that gets sent back to the NAS, if the user auths OK)
2. You are using AuthByPolicy

The Ascends will ask for these extra configuration from the Radius
server so you can have centralized control over routes, pools, etc.
If you don't use them, you can add in a DEFAULT entry with a regexp
match for the usernames, then use Auth-Type = Reject
It is very important that you reject
If you specify:
MaxSessions 1
for a realm, does a
Simultaneous-Use
item for a particular user override this?
