Similar problems in new home with new WiFi6. But I can't find anything called "band steering" in the router management, but what with moving and Madame preparing for knee surgery, I haven't really had a chance to see if this exists. Even with WiFi6 turned off, the Radios (Wlan-poked)

Just an update - I completely missed that the Vonets VAP11G-300 dongle has a power pass-through until I physically held the thing in my hand. I know that, technically, there is a voltage issue (the Radio power block shoves 18v into the Vonets (which only wants 15v ...) and then the Vonets

Just an update - so, it was (easily, if a tad hidden in the Menus) possible to disable WiFi6 / 802.11ax, and everything (including the old laptop) works fine. The family have had enough of my "messing about" for the moment, but a tad later I'll try re-enabling WiFi6, and see if the kit

Is "Smart Connect"known as anything else? I can't finst any mention of it in my router management menus Then again, there's no specic mention of WiFi6 - just 802.11ax. Having said everything worked last night - it then all stopped! I'll have the apartment to myself for a few hours
