is likely your network (WiFi, router, ISP). Is your SB3 using WiFi? If you use SBS server is it also using WiFi? Is SBS server on a NAS? Easy test is to wire both your player and SBS server, now see if buffering goes away. -- toby10

Once the stream is started the player does not need the server to continue to stream that station. It can potentially stream for days with a blue icon (no server) until you interrupt it with a player command. -- toby10
