provide enough poor drainage and mud to have you wishing for something less
floaty. Remember when you leave Hancock that there are 17 miles of asphalt
you can default to on the opposite side of the canal from the C O;
I was reminded of this yesterday, when the route included multiple rough RR
track crossings and old worn chip seal. The 650B conversion to a RBW Road
allows 38 mm Pari-Motos. At 55 - 60 lbs of air pressure, they float over
that junk.

The last time I rode the CO it was wet and muddy. I ran 50mm Duremes and

I have a Sam H. in the 52 CM size with 650B wheels. It has the single top
tube. I am 5 foot 11 with an inseam of about 33 inches and Rivendell would
have probably sized me up to the next size (I bought the frame from
Renaissance Cycles). At that time none of the Sam's had the double tubes

Don't own a 52cm Sam, but I'm fairly certain the 57.5cm TT length listed in
the geometry chart IS the effective horizontal TT. There's a note at the
top of the geometry charts that reads: In cases of 6-degree upslope, we've
included only the theoretical tt length.
