The wildcard I didn't mention was the 700x32 tires barely cleared the old brakes, Tektro RX40 short reach. I installed the Tektro R559 and the 650B wheels the other night and rode it yesterday with Nifty Swifty 650Bx32.8. There may actually be better clearance under the R559 just given that they
