I have a Bontrager (Trek) branded stand that has a built in place to rest
the seat nose (and the weight of the bike) while you tighten the clamp. It
is helpful with heavier bikes. I even had a Surly big dummy on it.

wide fender in 650B. I used them over 584x54 Thunderburts. I like them
very much. Solid and quiet.

What a tremendous bike. Does it ride quietly with the tensioner? I usually like
a ss without tensioner for quiet riding. I am considering a 3 ring by 1 cog
with front derailler shifting only and a tensioner. As long as it is quiet,
that is.

Garth, Thanks for the perspective. I have albas on the bike now and the Boscos
have much more rise so I am thinking the flat part of the bar is going to be
lower and 2cm farther away than the current set up. Stability will be a wait
and see on the bike. I like interrupters on my road bike for

That is kind of what I am asking. I haven't put the bars on yet. I like sitting
up but want the option of getting more forward and lower.
