Mike has a lot of opinions. He builds excellent wheels. What he is looking
for is not necessarily what a Rivendell rider might be looking for in a
bike. He is an aggressive rider. If you are serious about a long chainstay
fat bike, it might be worth checking out Mahall Bikeworks. It is custom so
I think the wheelset alone makes it semi reasonable. Having a frame/fork
built will be a small fortune with no guarantee they will nail the usual
Riv magic!

What a beautiful setup! I canāt wait to see pictures from the next trip!
Iāll be watching to see what the bag behind the seat tube comes out like,
Iāve definitely been interested in using that space.
Is your light mount solid on the makeshift Pec Deck? I was thinking about
doing that as well b
that using a tube for a quick ride to make sure the tape is set to be a

Richard, my 2.5ā Ehline measures right at 2.5ā. They are huge sitting next
to the Fleecer Ridge 55mm. They roll very fast compared to the Maxxis tire
as well.

Hey Keith, are those rims tubeless compatible?
As for machined sidewall, neither set of my cliffhangers have them and
braking hasnāt been an issue even with the ice and snow. I have seen plenty
of 2.8ā tires successfully run on a 25mm ID (like the cliffhanger) rim so i

Looks slightly darker than the Bombadil, but still...a really nice subtle

an option when I ordered my Road in 2000, but I didn't like it as much as ,
say, these 2 iterations of yellow so I went with the Harvest Gold

I for one would love to see a Gus with EE wings and friction 1x Eagle or
Garbaruk cassette. Friction shifting a 12 speed cassette feels better to me
than the 7 speed I have. The spacing feels so perfect!

Dave, I am so sorry your bike was stolen and I hope you can get it back -

I suspect you have a lot of history with it and that is irreplaceable of
course. But do you have house insurance to cover some of the financial
loss, so you can possibly replace it if it doesn't turn up?

I've been eagerly awaiting the Sam drop for a few months now, the new pics
have me so pumped! This will be my first Riv if I'm lucky enough to get
one. Looking to get the LImeOlive 60cm. Seems like the 60cm frames have
been hanging around on some of the other recent drops, so fingers crossed.

whether it was a *gomi* harvest or not, unfortunately.
