I don’t think there would be an issue at all. I had the Clem H in a 59 and
have a 90.5 PBH. I had to use a 135 stem with the Tosco bars and was more

I run a 172 on my Susie and it is plenty high with the 2.5” for some pretty
chunky terrain. I have a 170 on my Clem with 2” and it is about an inch

I want to say first off that I really love this bike! I ended up picking up
a Clem H to use as my commuter so that the Susie wouldn’t get as beat up.
Turns out, I like the Clem almost as much in reality. I was hoping to get
an idea of what might be a fair price so I wanted to list the build and
Mike has a lot of opinions. He builds excellent wheels. What he is looking

I think the wheelset alone makes it semi reasonable. Having a frame/fork

Riv magic!

What a beautiful setup! I can’t wait to see pictures from the next trip!
I’ll be watching to see what the bag behind the seat tube comes out like,
I’ve definitely been interested in using that space.
Is your light mount solid on the makeshift Pec Deck? I was thinking about
doing that as well
that using a tube for a quick ride to make sure the tape is set to be a
key. Shops do not take the time for that.

Richard, my 2.5” Ehline measures right at 2.5”. They are huge sitting next
to the Fleecer Ridge 55mm. They roll very fast compared to the Maxxis tire
as well.

Hey Keith, are those rims tubeless compatible?
As for machined sidewall, neither set of my cliffhangers have them and
braking hasn’t been an issue even with the ice and snow. I have seen plenty
of 2.8” tires successfully run on a 25mm ID (like the cliffhanger) rim so i

I for one would love to see a Gus with EE wings and friction 1x Eagle or
Garbaruk cassette. Friction shifting a 12 speed cassette feels better to me
than the 7 speed I have. The spacing feels so perfect!

Hi Emmet, I sent you a message but it could have gone to spam so I’ll make
a post here. I have a black 26mm clamp Juan Martin that I’m willing to
sell. I saw the post but had to think about it for a bit. Fell free to
message me if you are interested!

The Gus/Susie is a 73mm BB shell, so just one spacer on the drive side is
needed.

Beautiful bike!! And a great looking area to ride. Still waiting on parts
to finish building up my wife’s Platy but I love seeing all the great
builds and different riding areas. Enjoy!

Another vote for the Kool Stop dual compound v2 pads. They have been
amazing in all conditions, even snow and freezing rain.

Thank you David! I have that saddle broken in now but found it too wide for
me. Hopefully it works for her! No way she spends over 500 miles to break
in a saddle. Haha.

Very Nice Mackenzy! I was actually thinking of those fenders for my Clem,
and possibly the Platypus. The SW Honjo fender is a bit more work to
install but definitely worth it in my opinion.

Great information, thank you! I just unboxed my wife’s frame a couple hours
ago. Frame saver sprayed and drying now. I’m very excited to build it up
for her! She hasn’t decided on fenders or tire size yet. I did a quick test
fit of a Fleecer Ridge that I have on a Cliffhanger and it was tight
