I have spec'ed a set of wheels with A23 rims. I will be stopping these
wheels with a pair of calipers - known to some of us as sidepulls. But I am
intrigued by your comment about the slight V shape of the rim being ideal
for centerpulls and caliper brakes and sub-optimal for

I've been delighted with the Civia Bryant stem. I run it on two bikes.
SOMA has the Shotwell, which looks like the identical thing. SOMA also

And if you want a trusted name, the Nitto is about the only choice for
what you want. I'm defining trusted as made in house by someone with a
good reputation. All of the VO, IRD, Dimension etc. etc. , are made by a
third party to their specs. this does not necessarily mean anything though,
I never got used to more than 2 blades on a razor. The Schick Slim Twins
are pretty good for a drugstore disposable. Try the Sensitive Skin version.
They work really well with Cremo shaving cream if you want to go brushless.
Cremo is decent alone but really good as an addition to a super-lather

The Pari Moto also does well on the Aerohead which is narrower at 20 wide
than the Synergy and deeper. The A23 is the same width (23) as Synergy and
a bit deeper. The A23 is not offered in a 584 rim size though so Pari
Motos won't go on it.

Sean - this is a 60cm frame. The bigger size just fits me better on these
later bikes. If I had gone with a 60cm on the first run, the reach would
