Here's a German cyclist we met while cycling down the Rhone. You can see
that his bike - the one on the left - has two flickstands to keep it stable
in that situation, with the front stand coming off the bottom of the front
rack. He said that his bike - a Dutch touring bike that he purchased as

it work on my Hunq. It arrived last week, and after eyeing it up I don't
think it's going to work out for me. My handlebars are low enough that when

This looks black to me -

David, thanks. I'm 6'-1" with a 90.5 PBH. I set my saddle height lower
than the usual PBH-11. On the Clem my saddle is at 31" / 78.7cm.
I shortened 1 cable yesterday and put the Jones Kraton grips, which are
really nice (previously I've only used the Jones EVA grips).
A couple people emailed me:
I'd *rather* keep all the parts but so be it:
$2000+shipping for how it stands.
$1500 *shipped* for frameset + bottom bracket of your choice

I am not just speaking to your post Ash, but it reminds me of the general
presumption of superiority/inferiority that sometimes seems to be when
speaking of riding in general, regardless of who.
Well, "riding" does not give a hoot what is worn by the rider. So

Tom,
What is your height and PBH? Clem looks great!

Update on rack. I found the 2 important bolts for the pannier rails. It takes a
total of 6 m5 bolts to secure the rails. 2 of those need to be really short,
and I have those. The other 4 can be normal length and even canti mounting
bolts work fine. So to clarify, it is brand new but missing 4

I loved the article. I am now appropriating and modifying the term to

Hi everybody on both sides of the fence and sitting on it, too--
I wrote the book but am not trying to push it here. I wrote it because I
don't LIKE to talk about diet stuff, so it was sort of my one-shot. I'm
piping up here (violating "one shot"), but it won't be my usual long post.

Thank you, Patrick- that reminds me of playing on the floor with my kids-
it always felt good, and I haven't spent much time on the floor since, I
think I'll start again-
