on the CrossCheck, but same
bars and saddle. I haven't measured precisely, but the contact points
are almost identical between the two, mainly the bars are about 1-2cm
lower on the CrossCheck.

I agree on the TT sizing. Also, if you can, buy it with the steerer
uncut so you can get the bars where you want them.

Hey Gino, like Jon say, size it by TT, not PBH. That's the answer

one dooring a few years back was
pretty minor, just a bump on the head, but i've certainly imagined the
possibility of taking the door edge in the hand before. Glad there
weren't broken bones in there too. Heal quickly, do your PT, you'll
need that range of motion for CX season :-)

1.5s? It seems wasteful to get all new tubes. I guess I
could just try it but I thought some of the experienced mechanics here
might have the answer. Thanks for the help!
Tubes stretch, you should be fine.

You
to admit that there is a much more solid feel to a threadless
setup. If the new roadie Riv is going threadless, they should consider
bringing back the half-lugged stem they had a while back.

. If this is someone who mostly drives and is used
to their cycling in small doses, she might have felt pretty exposed to
danger being on a bike (i've heard this from both men and women novice
cyclists). Not much to do about it other than smile and wave, try to
be friendly.

It looks like our local MetroTransit organization, which runs the
trains and busses around town, decided to use a nicely-kitted-out
Bleriot for its bus bike rack model:

Bicycle Works line. Has anyone tried using a Hillborn as a cyclocross
bike? It seems like a pretty good candidate, perhaps aside from the TT
slope.

Not really controversial at all, just basic geometry. Bars go up, they
also go back; it's that angle part of head tube angle.

now that is a controversial statement
tourers and big riders. They have
generally carried much larger frames than are generally available, and
if you're 6'8 and looking for a bike, weight capacity is an issue.
