A few years ago, when the 64 cm Atlantis went away, some people took notice.
Since then, there have been times when it's been speculated that you could
still get a 64 even though the website says 61 is the largest. But I wasn't
sure if it was just rumor, although there was that one picture of
I did it on my own back in 2008 using a 24-40 and the QB pantsguard. I had it
on an Atlantis.
I didn't keep it there long, because I missed the big ring on rides to the
trail. (I didn't miss the big ring on the trail though.)
I went with 24, because I really don't want to sacrifice the low.

Early Riv readers had some space for tales of bike maintenance screw-ups. Those
were fun to read. One story had a crank arm getting its threads stripped, but
it HAD to be removed from the frame so the mechanic eventually had to hacksaw
through the spindle of a nice BB to get the cranks off.
