The OP says the seatpost is new, never used, but the frame was built up

disassembled.
As the sale is for a frame with a few parts, this scenario is not too hard

Patrick,
Wow. That was quick -- they were in the holiday 2018 flyer email a week or
so ago, and I ordered mine last weekend.
They were $28, and fit my xxl noggin well. It might be worth an email or a
call to see if there are more on the way.

include those. I'm always searching for good headgear for cool/cold weather
riding (as I get balder this gets even more important!), and I think these
are the Goldilocks "just right" solution. Get yourself one or two!

The tires are Soma Supple Vitesse EX 700 x 42, the fenders are Velo Orange

The front rack is a Nitto R-14 with tombstone. Handlebars are Chocomoose.

Lon,
You say you've been dreaming of a Redwood, but you're selling its first
cousin, the Rambouillet! The Redwood was a tall-sizes only, slightly
cheaper, slightly less fancy version of the bike you already own -- from
the 2003 Riv catalog: ""The Romulus and Redwood are complete road bikes
Both are sold.

I've found my tires -- thanks to all.
Conway, FWIW, I bought from someone who responded off list as requested, so
Carla's are still available.

I'm seeking a gently used pair of 700c Rock n Road tires or something
similar to mount on my 2005 Atlantis.
If you have something that might be of interest, please respond off list
with details and price. My zip code is 61701.

Lum,
I think you are worrying too much about the risks associated with both
fenders and racks. Properly used and mounted both present very minor risks.
That said, presuming you want to preserve/pamper your Riv's frame and
parts, I would definitely not ride it on salty roads, dry or wet --
Patrick,
Having just gotten back from a 30 mile ride with temps in the upper 80s and
humidity in the lowers 80s here in central IL, I'd say you're gloating.
:)
