Since were talking about this... Did anyone else
notice the fella, last week, that was selling ALL of
Kenwoods programming software, bundled and burned onto
a CD, on E-bay for a final price of $4.00? H.
Do you have any idea how pissed that made me.

Don't forget If you're going to order a new one,
get the "E TYPE" as the factory spec on it puts it in
the amature band. The "K", "K1", or "K2" does not spec
in the amature band.

I'd like to add to the other fine responses that have suggested the
potential ill effects of tying two receiver inputs together without
isolation. To determine if this is actually the problem, try replacing the
second RX with a dummy load at the receiver end of the cable. If you still

ROIP does not provide as high of a residual income as compared to keeping customers on our own system, as far as our AVL is concerened. I don't know what other markets are doing, although I get the same mags.

I agree. I work in Commercial Two-way. The problem with ROIP and a SMALL two-way shop, is the lack of high residual income. My example of AVL (and its apparent surge with ROIP and commercial two-way shops)is. keeping them on our system is much more profitable. The role of the RM i

Hello Steve
Yes I did change the PA board with one from a
identical radio. It just wont come up to power now.
Their must be a programing procedure that needs to be
done.
And if I can program "COR" at pin 8, I will be set.
Thanks: Scott

with an alignment, or programing ?
And is there someone that could do this for me?

I think I fixed it. Someone subscribed a list to the repeater-builder list.
I have set that e-mail account to NO E-MAIL. That should take care of it

Tom,
There is some info that I have just made available
to the webmaster for publication.I'm sure he will make an announcement when it's
available. It's schematics and basic notes only, but it may help you out. I
will be writing a better theory of operation as time permi

might learn something.
In order to use a thru type filter, you will need to break the audio path
somewhere. Be sure you feed your filter with a good low-impedance source,
and feed a high impedance load with it.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. I will have to do something soon. I
have been dealing with it like it is, but at times it sure would be nice to
have that antenna port again. BTW: the price psudo-quoted was $4000.
Thanks again, and I will let all know what I found.
