also have antennas somewhere ,Was used for 154 mh but could be tuned for 144

148 mh These have "N" connectors, If you build one you have to use 75 olm

Certainly would be nice to put one through it's paces on a repeater.
Checking it for temperature stability and purity, etc. Obviously someone
would need to have some decent test equipment to conduct the testing.

I just tried to call Channel Element Headquarters to get a channel element
for a UHF Micor and I'm told there is just no call for Micor channel
elements anymore. The only reason I wanted one is because I need to change
my repeater frequency and I don't want to have the repeater off the ai

I have an MCS-TR-440 rev A, and an MCS-M4R-Rev A, that I need to retune.
The retuning shouldn't be a big deal, but I wouldn't want to guess on

the culprit this time. I even removed the transistors, and re-flowed every
joint just to be sure. When I got it back together... same thing. The

Your problem with the Astron 35 will most likely be a bad solder joint
on the collector tab of one of the (4) 3771 transistors.
We keep reminding people that have problems with Astrons that this is
where to look because it is a VERY common failure mode with those
