Actually, the OnStream site states in the Mac area or a FAQ that the RDU
1.9 (which supports the 15/30GB drive) also supports the 25/50GB. We had

On the Mac, we write pretty much the only drivers available for tape drives.
With Windows, Retrospect does not require (or use) the manufacturer's or
Microsoft's driver -- we support the device

a look...
