I think it was made out of polyvinyl chloride. That will tend to leach vinyl chloride, which is pretty nasty stuff. One can get rid of that by putting it in an oven that is set to 150 F or so, for 24 hours. But I am not sure if you do that if it will become brittle. Marshall Jim Holmes wrote:
