I should also have mentioned DMSO in my first reply. I have been applying DMSO to my shoulder and it helps with inflammation and pain. I also use Topricin with the DMSO (usually right after applying DMSO), it helps with the inflammation and reduces itching and drying of the skin from the DMSO.
