I have some experience of this, none of it good. My business bank, the
Co-operative, have basically insisted that I install this on my Mac or they are
going to limit the amount of money I can pay out on any single day. Most of the
time this is fine but paying staff and occasionally suppliers cou

Thanks Sam & Chris for sharing your experiences.
Rob, I remember the discussion from a few years ago and decided to raise it
again to see if any opinions have changed or whether Rapport itself has
improved and become more Mac friendly.
A lot has changed over the last few years in terms of hacker
My father-in-law had Rapport installed on his top range iMac and it reduced to
a crawl. NatWest didn't want to know, and Trusteer, an IBM subsidiary, didn't
respond to him either.
Removed Rapport and, lo, iMac restored to normality.

because it is so convenient, especially using our Apple Watches which is always
a good conversation starter with the cashiers. I visited John Lewis yesterday,
and they don't have contactless at the moment ☹️.

Still only using a 5s I am barred from the ‘joys’ of using Apple Pay but have a
subconscious desire to join the pioneers although I have grave doubts that of
the desirability of a totally cashless society, but luckily I feel there will
always be a residue of retro humans who will fight an effect
