The BSD docs you are reading was written when 1.1 was released. It

same as with default Rev 2.00 except that complaining about revision
number mismatch. But outcome is still the same, I'm able to download
approx. 200kB of 5MB file and then connection dies. What
problem here.

330 silver speedtouch modem.

return the same exit code as in Linux and thus, when you unplug your

Moreover, I think that this firmware is using the RTEMS real time
operating system. So, it's quite difficult to disassemble such code. So,
why would you want to disassemble such firmware?

AFAIK Mandrake 10 install a 2.6 kernel by default. Right now, the
speedtouch-1.2 drivers does not seem to work under 2.6 kernels.

le pb des messages des time-outs qui arrivaient en raz de maree est
resolue. MAIS pour une raison inexpliquee, certains (5 ou 6) de ces

Tout d'abord, pppd refuse de remplacer la route par defaut s'il en existe

Dans le cas de la distribution Mandrake 7.2 par exemple, il suffit
d'enlever (ou commenter) la definition de GATEWAY= dans le fichier

Il n'y a aucun pb a utiliser les drivers d'Alcatel. Ils sont tout aussi
performants, meme si le design et l'installation sont differents.
Cependant, la plupart des pbs sont les memes, parce que ces pbs viennent
des drivers USB de linux. Ton pb est connu. Cependant, si tu veux nous
aider a

Try /usr/sbin/lsof | grep usb as root BEFORE running modem_run.
