What about curl -I http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/repo.xml It's hosted on the same machine. To elaborate further .what know. Embedded is the firats choice . LMS understand track art ,so albums with different artwork per song is not a problem ( as some downloads albums are deriverad feges days ) . But the embedded art in the first track becomes album art and represents the whole album in menus handling albums . Even more confusing can be that not alll third party controllers in all different versions they come in repsect track art. So web-UI in LMS and what you see in other places can be different . I will try to get time to instal the previous version head it 1.0.6f,
Im almost sure that version didnt not suffer from double start.
I will doublecheck tomorrow, but ps | grep [L]ogitechMediaServer did
report nothing but slimserver.pl was running.
Log states that LMS is started twice, then there is an error that LMS is
already running, which is an effect of that LMS is started twice.
What about the path to Perl I mentioned, was that correct?

I dont think Michael really knows the answer, cause there are too many versions of LMS and to many "best of" ways to think IMHO The "best" way is dont mess with the database / Browsercache and do a clear & rescan. Some other may think - and thats also a "good" idea - to stop the Server delete the artwork.db and restart the server. Full disclosure - I also run pi hole (https://pi-hole.net/) ad blocker on the same pi. I've had pi hole and LMS running together for at least 2 years without any problem. The LMS problem persists even if I turn pi hole off. I also tried setting Google as the DNS server (8.8.8.8) directly in the router to totally bypass pi hole, and I still get the same problems with the plugin page and the curl time out both on the pi and my laptop. Other than that, it's a pretty vanilla set up. Hi, everything is AFAIK!!! 1 The Image located in the first track/file of that Folder/Album is used. 2 & 3 dont know i am always clear & rescan, but moving / renaming the folder to a temp locating do a rescan for changes and rename/move back with a rescan for changes might help. But that cant be "better" than clear & rescan.. 1. Embedded is prefered over folsr.jpg . But i dont remember the logic on which files it choses if no embedded art is found folder.jpg , cover.jpg front.jpg and then whatever it can find ? something like that . I've updated to Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1518390680. I still get the same error message at the top of the plugin page, and still no 3rd party plugins. For the past couple of weeks the 3rd Party Plugins section has been missing from web interface plugins page. I think this is related to the following error message at the top of the page: Bad repository http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Connect timed out. I can ping "repos.squeezecommunity.org" without any problem and I get a response from "heine.metanet.ch (94.126.17.210)" I am running LMS on a raspberry pi 3 and the LMS version is 7.9.0 - 1488878280. If the folder contains a JPG called folder.jpg AND tracks contain an embedded JPG which file does LMS display in Albums etc ? (I know embedded JPGs is superfluous but one of my rippers insists on adding them if artwork is found) 2. If I find an error and correct folder based Artwork what is the best method / is there a way of getting LMS to update the database without a complete clear and rescan ? 3. I have tried also to reconnect the library through the player... not working either. Says it can't connect to the library. Eventually, I have uninstalled LMS from my Server and re-installed everything. Seems to have solved the problem. Doesn't explained what has happened at the time of the update though... Have you tried to connect to the server using a player. If you have a Radio or Touch; go to Home > My Music > Scroll to the bottom and select Library, there might be a choice of two. I have removed all of the players that don't exist anymore/show up as disconnected from Domoticz and I still get the same requests not dispatchable which is really frustrating. If I disable the LMS plugin within Domoticz I don't get the errors anymore. At least I now know what it is.. I shall do a bit more research and see what I can turn up.. Of course I have tried IP Address:9000, and same thing, page can't be reached. I also looked at the Firewall on the Server, and LMS is listed in the Aps allowed. Surprisingly, LMS appears twice in the list... could the install of latest version have screwed the Firewall settings? There was an update to v7.9.1, 1517314665 pushed to my system on Feb. 09. Since then, I can not mange to access LMS any more from computers connected to the network (through SERVER_NAME:9000 or through my Duet. LMS seems to be running correctly on the server (Windows Server 2016 Essentials), but connectivity seems not to work any more. Tried to stop and restart the server with no effect. Can someone point me to any trick to put my system back on?
