If you can access the NAS/DSM interface from a browser but not the LMS interface on the same NAS from the same browser then I would suspect the synology firewall is causing a problem. Have you stopped the Logitech Media Server package in the application center and restarted it? That normally

This has always confused me too. The last tine I checked, it seemed that if I had 8.1.0 installed, I would get get notified for 8.1.1, but not for nightlies. If I let it install 8.1.1, I would then get notified for nightlies. Are you talking about the Docker image, or in general?
