Delete and copy not working on 2.24

I'm running 2.24 on SUSE Linux, but I've been having trouble with this for a little while now. Just after the latest update it has become a daily event. Actually it seems to be after running for just a few hours. Currently, message filters seem to be working and messages are moved to the right
