1. soybean oil is goign up in price.
2. The dollar is coming down (presumably making
brazilian etc. soybean oil more costly).
3. Producers are price gouging because the market
will bear it.
I had a look at the chicago board of trade
The price of World Energy's biodiesel sold here in
Seattle is going up on Monday the 15th by 15 cents to
$3.10 a gallon.
Any ideas as to the cause of this price hike?

Hummers also get about 8 mpg, are outrageously
expensive, and don't carry much. They are not trucks.
They do get around, though.

I read that VW has a 1.3liter engine that gets 100mpg.
I'll find the reference if you're interested. This
car is not, of course, sold in the US.
