I did copy it, not successful.

That would be interesting, it is on a RAID 6. I do have an OS backup as well as
a backup from RegEdit of the correct tree.

Thanks I will have a go and see what happens. My method is much the same it
would go to message.old.0.tbn

They are something to do with a backup system that I use by Altaro.

Backup with Errors

Hello Hive Mind,

I am having problems with my backup.
I was on the last of version 6 and I started getting these errors.
As I am moving to a new computer I thought I would first upgrade to the latest

I have three folders in different accounts all giving these errors.
Problem is that I don't have a .TBI of a .EBI file.

Pulling up the correct address for a reply

2016-02-01 Thread David Elliott
Hello All,

Here is the situation

I have a catch all address on one of my domains.
I use a different address for each site that I visit e.g.

david.ar...@mydomain.com
david.123...@mydomain.com

When I hit reply I want this to be the sending address, but it has to work when
I am in the To: CC: and BCC: and when there are many in each list.

There are some things that that appears to be common across all messages. I
have highlighted them below from an email that I was BCC on.

I think I need a regex to pull out the address correctly.

Sorry IMHO they are wrong.

The URL is incorrect as it does not conform to RFC 1738. The two characters
that are not encoded but should be are [/] and [@]. They are reserved
characters and are being used out of there 'reserved character' context.

I did use to have regEx for the automated backup that contained the day of the

I would like to find the regEx again as I have recently moved TB! to a new

Hello All,

I have been using TB! for years.

But now it has just stumped me.

This is a fresh install on a fresh install of Server 2003.

I have used the old mail directories as all my backups were corrupt. (I have
never successfully restored TB! from backups as I think they should be but
that is a different story)

I have the main window set to full height account tree. The pain in the top
right show the messages sorted by reference + subject.

I want to sort them by Received (Up arrow) followed by Created (Up arrow). I
can set this for a folder. I can not save it when I move out of the folder it
looses it.

How do I save it.

I have tried to save save view mode to but this does not work.

Well I am just about to do it as well so pointers would be useful.

What I am planning on doing is.

Backup existing accounts folders, well everything really.

Restore from this backup to Voyager.

Change the accounts to IMAP or leave messages on the server.

Hopefully that should be it.

Sorry it seamed unclear. The only bit of the chain needed to create what you
want that I could not see is the bit where you activate a filter depending
on if an address was in part of the address book. If I could see that then I
would have given you a step by step.

That is the point I am a big key board used and don't use the mouse. When I
the cursor keys to move up and down the tree it gets really annoying that
the other columns disappear off the right.

P.S. Have you tried moving the column order. I have put unread first and it
looks weird with the tree having the unread numbers of unread.

The problem as I see it is that the first column width is not fixed but
will vary depending on how far into a tree you are in.

This was correct, but so was this as well but the above was closer to the
meaning of what I had sent.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 8< -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

> Excuse me sir, the person asked why he wasn't getting his email back

The result is that gmail will hide any of your posting to a list it you
send it though there SMTP gateway with the credentials of the from address.

It places all your sent mail into your sent box and will filter out the
return message from the list back to you.

The way to get around it is either.

1) Create a Sent filter which copiees the message back in to your inbox (or
where ever you keep the list messages.

or

2) Use a different SMTP service.

gMail and this list (May be OT)

2008-03-01 Thread David Elliott
Hello Tbudl,

This may be OT, but it is to do with this (and other) list/s.

I am using gMail via POP3 & SMPT and I am not see my own e-mail being
returned to this list. I think that it is a property of gMail as I can
see it in sent items in the web interface.

I know that gMail will not show your email in the inbox if you sent
it to a list. I was hoping that would not apply to POP3 and SMTP.

I have looked at the filter in gMail but can not see one to override
this behaviour.

I could set up filters for my out box but I don't really want to
have to do that.

My other option is to use a different SMTP server to sent it out.
Which I might end up to doing.

I have 'British English' selected and

realize, labour, are 'correct'.

If I go (whilst editing this message)

Spell Checker | Language | British English (is all ready checked)

However if I go

Spell Checker | Dictionary

It shows American English

SO something is not right.

for remote ports.

And I would not use port 111 as it is a known port.

Just checked out Priam. It has been up and running all the time so it does
look like a connection problem between BT and Scotland.

Almost as good as last week with BT cutting the power at Stanstead Abbots in
Hertfordshire and cutting of Bank of Ireland/Euroconnex.

Minos has just arrived back in the office today. I will get it set up over
the next week and get the two servers shipped up to buck at the end of next

The position of the mail ticker is saved on exit of The Bat! into the
registry. There are are only two reasons that I can think of (I may be
wrong)

(1) The Bat! is not exiting properly

(2) You don't have write permission for the registry.

or

If it is the one from http://www.proxyplus.cz/ (which has been updated
recently) then the steps are as this.

(1) In the Proxy + admin go to Proxy Settings | Proxies | Mapped links

(2) Now you add 2 mapped links

(3) Choose TCP and a port e.g. 5025

(4) Next the target host for example smtp.gmx.de:25

(5) Choose TCP and a port e.g. 5110

(6) Next the target host for example pop3.gmx.de:110

(7) Next to alter your mail settings on The Bat! (or any other mail client)

(8) In The Bat! Account | Properties | Transport. Change the smtp server to
your proxy server adderss e.g. 192.168.0.1 and change the port number to
5025.

(9) In the same screen. Change the Mail server to your proxy server adderss
e.g. 192.168.0.1 and change the port number to 5110.

and that should be it.

and that is a draft.

I find that it is very dangerous not to have the ability to distinguish
between a message that is unfinished and one that is finished but not ready
to send.

It might be parked in the outbox for a number of different reasons my main
one is that I don't want to send the message yet but after an event or time
that I waiting for.

Good I have a convert (again).

There are not many things that I feel strongly about in The Bat! that are

Draft
