Manual Backup Improvements

With the help of Thomas, Roel and Andrey I found a very convenient way for doing this: The way I designed it will execute the Backup everytime TB is closed *automagically* without you even noticing anything has changed. I assume you have already a batchfile exporting the TB registry settings and then calling up your favourite Packer. First, create a batchfile looking like this: Start TBw/Backup.bat start /wait X:\PATH\thebat.exe :: WIN9x users use "/w" instead of "/wait" call X:\PATH_TO_EXISTING_BACKUP.BAT End TBw/Backup.bat Use this batchfile to fire up TB instead of thebat.exe. This will result in two windows popping up (TB itself and the MS-DOS window where the batchfile is executed) To get rid of the MS-DOS window, which will reside in your taskbar use the following batchfile to hide that window (backup procedure will *not* be changed in any way): Start of Hidden.bat X:\PATH\HIDEWNDW.EXE /r X:\PATH_TO_TBw/Backup.bat End of Hidden.bat This one will start the batchfile from the first example using a little program (running under Win9x to W2K) which will hide the MS-DOS window. I see something LS here called "Secure viewer" and I have that checked, but LS all I ever get is a new message in my inbox that is LS decrypted. I don't know if there's another way, but if you enable the hotkey on your PGPtray Options tab "Shift+Ctrl+D" the decrypted message will be displayed in PGP's own viewer. You can't answer from there though. LS Also, is it possible to change the version that is being LS reported when you encrypt or sign a message? Right now LS it shows 6.5i and I would rather it said 6.5.8 or LS whatever. Understand that it is an International plugin, LS but I was just curious. Therefore you have to hack the batpgp65.dll in your TB! root folder manually with a HexEditor. Search for the string "6.5i" in the file and edit it to your needs. If I try to sign a message w/ PGP 7 I only get a message box saying that I do not have a private key and to first create one :( NA I am hoping that TB! begins to pay more attention to PGP, and PGP/MIME, NA rather that S/MIME. No, this is not my intention. I think they should continue both, as some users might think that S/MIME is the appropriate tool for their job. Eudora 4.3.2 does, and NA that feature works perfectly, so hopefully it won't be too long before NA RITLabs has a Plug-in for PGP 7.0 Ok, I see... macro question about s/mime and pgp
Hello list, I was wondering if there is a macro for using in the templates to make a decision between the use of pgp or s/mime. I know the macro "%signcomplete", but can I specify this macro a bit more precisly to make a difference between the use of s/mime or pgp? wrong wordwrap
