HTML viewing

2000-01-31 Thread Travisimo!
I know that the current version of The Bat does not support HTML editing (and I don't miss it), but the HTML viewer doesn't seem to work right. If I get an HTML e-mail, there are placeholders with exclamation points where pictures should be. Why is that? Why can't I view the pictures? I don't

Re-filter command

2000-01-08 Thread Travisimo!
I created a manual filter that will move read messages to my specified folder. So when I get new mail, I read them all and then issue the "Re-filter" command in the folder menu. When the re-filter window pops up, "Incoming Mail" is selected by default but "manual only" is not. Since I want my

Attachments

2000-01-02 Thread Travisimo!
I'm trying to figure out how to handle attachments. I have a ton of attachments in my "Attach" directory labeled "1.msg", "2.msg", etc. When certain people send me email, it shows these numbered files as attachments. The files contain the text that the person replied to, which is fine. But I

Save as...

1999-12-30 Thread Travisimo!
Periodically, I save a group of messages to a text file by choosing "Save as" in the Bat. A message header it automatically inserted before each message with the "=-=-=-=" above it and the "--" below it. Is a template being used when you perform a "save as"? Can it be customized? Thanks,

Incoming filter

1999-12-30 Thread Travisimo!

Manual filter

1999-12-30 Thread Travisimo!
One final question for tonight! G In the mail filter, there is a checkbox for "active" and a checkbox for "manual". I assume the "active" one just sets the filter to on or off. I don't understand what the "manual" one does though. I tried it and my filter just didn't work at all if I set it

Check for all accounts

1999-12-18 Thread Travisimo!
I have 3 accounts and would like The Bat to check mail for all accounts just by clicking on the "Get new mail" button on the toolbar. Is it possible to set it up this way? I know I can hit ALT+F2 or click on the arrow next to the "Get new mail" button and then click on "check all accounts", but
