Hi TW5 gurus (this expression was used in a previous thread),
I use TW5 as project management and GTD tool.
Part of the GTD philosophy are regular project reviews. I store the review
date in a tiddler field, using the TW5 date format. It would save me a lot
of work if I could have a button

Hi David
You'll need Stephan's dateTime macro -- get the tiddler
'$:/macros/skeeve/dateTime.js' from his site:

Then use something like this (I've included several date template options):
$button set=!!review setTo=dateTime DDD DDth, MMM 0hh:0mm:0ss Set
Hi, I managed to get it to work with previousTiddler in

ommand. Do you have any idea on how to do it?
thanks in advance :)

Hi,
Thanks to everybody for your kind words. I'm pleased you like it.
I started writing some documentation.

A screencast might be helpful too.
Yes, good idea.
It would be great if you have a chance to join the TW hangout on a Tuesday,

Thank you very much, Alberto.
I'm new to TiddlyWiki, but I wish to use it for my research. And your
template looks so good for me. It is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks!

This could be a new variant of TiddlyWiki what we've waiting for, a real

which doesn't require much knowledge in scripting, a tool with several
checkable options and polished interface. Developing this encyclopedia-like
Hi! In my wiki I have named a tiddler like so: Meeting Name [16.07.2014]
and every since I saved that, I can't work with the wiki anymore. The page
is flickering whenever I try to edit that tiddler in question and on the
right in the menu I see a flickering error message like ... Missing [ in
Hi Jack
Thanks for the report, the flickering you're seeing is definitely a bug.
To workaround it:
1. Close the browser tab
2. Open the TW file again (it shouldn't flicker at this point)
3. Go to Control Panel - Advanced - Settings and switch Navigation
Address Bar to Do not update the address
Thanks Jeremy, bud sadly I can't open the settings tiddler. Tried it in
both Firefox Chrome. Any other ideas?

Perhaps try deleting everything after the path and name of your file in the

Hi
I found a small bug in the $mangletags widget, I suggest updating to the
latest version: http://gwiz.tiddlyspot.com
My logic was faulty -- this effects only the find and replace option, and
only when the 'tags' field of the target tiddler is empty. The tag in the
'add=' attribute was added
Nothing happens when I click on any icon or tab header in the side bar.

Hi Matabele. That didn't work either, the fragment identifier just

OK, I can't duplicate that behaviour by creating a blank TiddlyWiki
containing a tiddler with the title Meeting Name [16.07.2014].

An option was introduced, in version 5.0.13-beta, to delimit the value
specified in an attribute to a widget between triple quotes. This turns out
to be extremely useful, in particular when creating a new tiddler from
scratch -- as in the 'Stacked Widgets' example.

Hi Jack
One thing that jumps out is this:
(I used Ctrl+S to overwrite the wiki html).
That isn't the correct way to save changes in TW. In most browsers it just
saves a copy of the wiki without the latest changes, but in Firefox it's
worse: it saves a corrupted wiki that can't be properly
Oh damn, didn't realise you souldn't use Ctrl+S, that explains a lot! Yes
the save button goes black when hovered.
Thanks,

Hi Stephan,
I finally got back to this after a hiatus, and I solved my problem. I'm
not 100% sure, but I think my problem was mostly that one needs to save and
then reload to get a plugin to work. If it was stated somewhere in the
directions, I guess I missed that. The ones I tried with

I'm still learning how to properly create plugins.
