Hi everyone,
I tried the --savetiddlers command but I get an error saying the command
does not exist. Has there been an update?
Instead of breaking down and rebuilding, I'm using the following command to

Thanks. Being new to this, I'm not sure what the best next step to take to
implement David's ideas. For example, should I create a data twiddler that
expresses the twiddlers that are in the desired path?

Hi All,
A reference to a tiddler is when I am typing content into Tiddler A for
example and I say, look at [[tiddler B]] for more information. In this case
the reference appears under the reference tab in tiddler A Information icon.
If I tag tiddler B with the title of tiddler A it appears und

I think TiddlyWiki5 will work perfectly well for your usecase.
David Johnston did some filter extensions, that may be interesting. See his

One option that might work you is importing your existing wiki into
TiddlySpace or TiddlyWeb and then exporting the content as a JSON-based
collection of tiddlers that will have attributes that include both the
original tiddler text and most of the resulting HTML[1]. You could then

The use case that drove me to investigate TiddlyWiki5 is the following:
Student wants to learn about a given topic (e.g. music theory) and visits a
TiddlyWiki that has content on the subject of interest.
A tiddler asks the student to select a sub-topic of interest (e.g. circle

Thanks Jeremy. I have a related inquiry that expands on this one (with a
use case that drove me to investigate TiddlyWiki), but I'll start a new
thread.

Hi Jim
One of the features that will be added during the beta is full support for
the browser back and forward buttons; you'll be able to use them to
navigate back through the tiddlers you've visited.
In the meantime, you may be able to use the "zoomin" view (you can switch

Hi Marcus
I'm sorry you've been having a poor experience with TiddlyWiki.
As you've found, TiddlyFox only provides support for saving changes to the
wiki, and doesn't provide a general purpose file API; that's what stops
things like the snapshot/saveas plugins from working. However, TiddlyFox is
When navigating to a tiddler (perhaps by clicking a link), I'd like to be
able to navigate back (similar to how a browser Back button works when
navigating to a previous page or anchor in the page). What is the best way
to do that in TiddlyWiki5?
Thanks,

Thanks for your answers, both very interesting!

Hi Jeremy,
I did have a look at the alpha16 prerelease.
And yes, it is easier to add things to the PageTemplate.
It is not the final alpha16 so I don't know if the following is relevant.
By the way, the Javascript error is still there when you want to modify the
