The apt side should be OK. But it depends on interaction with other
services, so it cannot be reliably tested on its own I guess.
We'll get a better fix eventually that makes the apt side work better by
making it wait on the upgrade itself.
Currently, we basically stop the controlling script;
i had time to test this right now and sadly the problem persists in ubuntu
gnome 18.04 daily

I guess something went south when NM is signaling "wireless-enabled"

Connection to open or WPA secured wifi works without any issues.
Connection to WPA2/PLEAP fails. Repeatedly asks for username/password.
Possible gnome-shell integration issue.
System was updated from Xenial to Bionic in mid-January. At that time
this WPA2/PLEAP setup worked
Is this 100% reproducible?
