File system fragmentation?
You should be able to find a SMART Disk utility which may also prove helpful
useful.
The DPMonitor (http://deltek.us ) will also track individual and system wide
processes

when talking about optimal I/O threshold target limits for Unix file
systems.
Many years of benchmarking large SMP UNIX architectures and
applications on those seem to confirm those numbers as well. I'd be
