I had tried so many ways to resurrect my previous vm that I got ahead of
my self when I went to verify my operation. Bottom line: the vm still
hangs when woken up from a suspended state even with the 3.9 kernel. It
is obvious that something is turned off when the vm is put to sleep that
is not

I kept playing around with both vms (both with the 3.9.030900rc5-generic
kernel) running pausing and restoring to verify the hangup. They were
consistent. However, by accident I started flipping from full screen to

the Dinovo edge worked when I first installed 10.4, but quit working
about a week later, possibly due to an update. It worked with 9.4 for

I've got a Zonet ZEW2546 USB device, which has a Realtek RTL8191S chip
(as indicated by lsusb -v under the iProduct attribute). Correct me if
I'm wrong, but I believe this chip is supported by the rtl8192se driver

I have this problem too with an Asus M3N78-VM and BIOS 1409. Suspend
works once but then doesn't work again.
Also, some other posts here indicate that USB hangs after connecting a
flash drive, with the mouse hanging, then USB hanging to the point where
lsusb doesn't return anything at all and
Karmic has so screwed up my machine that I have trouble even using it.
The root cause: grub2. I had a multiboot system running smoothly, now
it is a chaotic mess. I am at a point of deciding whether to reformat
